Two years in prison for drug trafficker.

(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Court of Que Phong district recently held a first-instance trial of the criminal case "Illegal trafficking of narcotics" against defendant Lu Van Tri, born in 1985, residing in Bo village, Cam Muon commune.

In court, defendant Lu Van Tri testified that on December 17, 2015, he bought a package of heroin worth 180,000 VND in Hien village (Chau Thon commune), Que Phong district. After using some, he divided the remaining amount into four smaller packages to sell and use gradually.

The subject is Lu Van Tri.

At 5 PM the same day, Tri sold a small packet to two young men for 100,000 VND. At 7:30 PM, the Que Phong District Police conducted an administrative inspection and seized 3 packets of heroin weighing 0.25g.

After reviewing the evidence and considering aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the People's Court of Que Phong District sentenced the defendant Lu Van Tri to 2 years in prison for the crime of "illegally trading in narcotics".
