Twenty men and women were wildly dancing to loud music in a three-story house when police raided the place and caught them red-handed using illegal drugs.
On October 28, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Lam Dong Provincial Police announced that the 20 suspects had been taken into criminal custody.
Earlier, at 1:30 AM on October 27th, the Drug Crime Investigation Department, in coordination with the Da Lat City Police, launched a multi-pronged raid on a three-story house on Nguyen Dinh Quan Street in Da Lat City. The house was owned by Nguyen Van Thinh (born in 1985, residing in Minh Chau commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province).
In one room, the police caught 8 women and 12 men red-handed organizing and illegally using drugs.
Authorities discovered a package suspected to contain ketamine, two packages containing tablets suspected to be ecstasy, and numerous items related to drug use such as ceramic plates, plastic cards, speakers, laser pointers, etc.
A quick test revealed that 18 out of 20 subjects tested positive for drugs, including 11 men and the rest women.
The police also seized two cars, four motorbikes, and numerous tools used for organizing and facilitating the illegal use of narcotics.
