23 players participating in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup have been signed by Song Lam Nghe An.
Of the 25 U10 players signed by Song Lam Nghe An, 23 are graduates of the Nghe An Newspaper Cup.
On the afternoon of August 28th, in Vinh City, Song Lam Nghe An Club held a contract signing ceremony to select athletes for the U10 Song Lam Nghe An team.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Ho Le Duc - General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Club; representatives from various departments of the club; and parents of the U10 players.
To prepare for the National Youth Football Tournament in 2025, and to create a pool of quality athletes for the club, the Nghe An youth football academy decided to establish an U10 class. Through recruitment drives, the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center has selected 25 athletes. Of these, 23 players graduated from the Nghe An Newspaper Cup in 2024, and 2 players are from the satellite classes of Song Lam Nghe An.
The 23 players who emerged from the Nghe An Newspaper Cup are all outstanding talents who performed excellently at the 2024 Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament. Of these, Yen Thanh Children's team contributed 5 players, followed by Vinh City and Quynh Luu teams.
Two players who did not participate in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup but were still selected this time are Vy Xuan Duy and Tu Duc Chuan, both from the amateur football class in Vinh City.
Before the signing ceremony, Mr. Ho Le Duc - General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Football Club - shared some of the rights and obligations of athletes when joining the youth football training academy in Nghe An. In particular, Mr. Duc also requested that parents provide all necessary documents such as identity cards and birth certificates accurately.
The General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Club once again affirmed that Song Lam Nghe An will not accept the recruitment of players who falsify their age. If discovered, Song Lam Nghe An will immediately terminate the contract.
During the ceremony, Mr. Ho Le Duc also expressed his wish that parents would pay close attention to their children; and work together with the club to closely manage the athletes, ensuring that when the players mature, they are well-rounded in both ethics and professional skills.
The U10 Song Lam Nghe An team will be coached by Mr. Le Ky Dai. After the holiday break, this U10 team will officially begin training, preparing for the National Children's Football Tournament in 2025.
