239 works entered the final round of the 2025 Nghe An Province Golden Hammer and Sickle Award
In 2025, the Organizing Committee of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of Nghe An province received 285 entries, of which 239 entered the final round.
On the morning of November 3, the Final Council of the 2025 Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) of Nghe An province met to evaluate the works that entered the final round.
Comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Jury of the 2025 Nghe An Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association.
The "Golden Hammer and Sickle - Nghe An 2025" Award is integrated with the award for the Journalism Competition on models and typical examples of "Skillful Mass Mobilization" and the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
With extensive propaganda, the Contest has received attention and enthusiastic response from press agencies, units, reporters and collaborators inside and outside the province.
As a result, by October 5, 2025, the deadline for receiving entries, the Journalists Association had received a total of 285 works, of which 273 were eligible for the award.
The entries have diverse and rich topics, with many genres, vividly reflecting the work of Party building, building the political system, protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the province; effectively bringing the Party's resolutions into life, in the fields of economics, politics, ideology, culture, national defense, security, foreign affairs, anti-corruption...
Through the preliminary round, the jury selected 239 high-quality works to enter the final round in the following categories: visual newspaper, print newspaper, radio, electronic newspaper, printed (electronic) magazine, press photo, video clip. The jury proposed to award the Nghe An Province Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2025 to 61 outstanding works.
The announcement ceremony of the 2025 Nghe An Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award was held on the occasion of the 96th Anniversary of the Party's Founding (February 3, 2026).
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh acknowledged and commended the spirit of urgency, impartiality and seriousness of the members of the Jury, the Working Group and the Secretariat in selecting the best journalistic works.
He assessed that this year's season, the quantity and quality of works have increased; the topics are diverse and rich, demonstrating the decisive, methodical and responsible participation of the Organizing Committee and press agencies, localities and units.
He requested relevant departments to prepare carefully for the award ceremony; focus on completing the documents to send works to participate at the Central level. At the same time, he hoped that members of the Organizing Committee and press and media agencies would continue to spread the meaning of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award at all levels./.
