25% of party members in the militia and self-defense force

That is the content of Plan No. 25/KH-HU, dated February 24, 2016 on building the militia and self-defense force (DQTV), reserve mobilization force (DBDV) of Dien Chau district, to meet the requirements of national defense and security tasks in the new situation, period 2016 - 2020 issued by Dien Chau District Party Committee.
The Militia and Self-Defense Forces are one of the components of the people's armed forces; a strategic force in building and protecting the Fatherland; a core force in building the all-people national defense, in the all-people movement to protect the Fatherland's security in peacetime in the locality. Clearly defining the role and importance of this force, and at the same time aiming to raise awareness, responsibility and create unity in leadership and direction of Party committees from district to grassroots, Dien Chau District Party Committee has issued a Plan on building this force.

The goal of building a militia force is to have 100% of the officers of the Military Command of the commune, town and self-defense unit graduated from military profession. 75% of the village officers, team leaders, platoon leaders, squad leaders are party members and retired soldiers. Building a militia force, strive to reach more than 1.25% of the district's population, of which party members account for 25%.
To ensure these figures, the solution of concern is to improve the quality of national defense and security knowledge training, the quality of annual training and development of cadres. Prioritize consideration and planning of comrades who have been trained in military schools and have sufficient qualifications and experience to be assigned to the positions of commanders and deputy commanders of the Commune Military Command. Select and admit militia and self-defense forces according to the correct procedures and ensure quality. Strengthen and improve the quality of annual training.
Regarding the building of the DBĐV force, maintain activities at least once a quarter. Regularly and effectively carry out Party work, political work, training activities, drills, inspections, mobilization readiness, and high combat readiness.
