Due to violations of regulations on multi-level marketing activities, 25 multi-level marketing businesses have had their operating licenses revoked by the authorities.

News from the Competition Management Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) indicates that a task force recently inspected a series of multi-level marketing businesses. As a result, more than 25 multi-level marketing companies were shut down for violations, and dozens of other multi-level marketing companies, large and small, were inspected, warned, and fined billions of VND.

Common violations detected and handled include violations in the issuance or amendment of multi-level marketing registration certificates, multi-level marketing training activities; advertising that provides false or misleading information to customers; maintaining more than one multi-level marketing business position, multi-level marketing contract, or multi-level marketing business code for the same multi-level marketing participant...

Also in August 2017, Organo Gold Vietnam Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing company, announced the cessation of its operations nationwide.

A representative from Organo Gold Vietnam stated that the company will be responsible for fulfilling its obligations to participants in the multi-level marketing scheme in accordance with the law.

The Competition Authority (CA) advises that participants in multi-level marketing (if any) who have any complaints about the company failing to fulfill its obligations to them can submit them directly to the company or the CA for resolution.
