250 gift packages were delivered to teachers and students in flood-affected areas.
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the "Joining Hands Towards Flood-Affected Areas" program, over two days (October 24th and 25th), a delegation from the Provincial Military Command, in coordination with the Provincial Red Cross Society, led by Colonel Vuong Kim Hai – Head of Political Affairs of the Provincial Military Command, visited and presented 250 gifts to teachers and students in flood-affected areas of Quy Chau and Que Phong districts.

At the following schools: Chau Hanh 1 Primary School, Chau Hanh 2 Primary School and Chau Hoi commune (Quy Chau district); and schools in Nam Giai commune (Que Phong district), the delegation presented 250 gifts worth over 50 million VND to teachers and students.

On this occasion, the delegation also directly visited two families of students with particularly difficult circumstances, presenting them with gifts and cash worth 1 million VND each.

This activity demonstrates the proactive and pioneering spirit of officers and soldiers of the armed forces and the Red Cross Society of the province in supporting flood-affected areas, especially remote and disadvantaged regions.
