290 trainees attended the training course on Nghe Tinh folk songs (Vi and Giam).

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 21st, the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Songs and the Provincial Cultural Center organized the opening ceremony of the 2015 Nghe Tinh folk song training course, attracting 290 trainees from 15 districts and cities.

The five-day training course aimed to help club members master the basics of original and adapted melodies, performance styles; to impart some content related to methods of building folk song programs, teaching melodies; the procedures for establishing and organizing club activities; and experience in writing new lyrics for the folk songs of Nghe Tinh.

This is one of the activities aimed at promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of Nghe Tinh folk songs (Vi and Giam) to the people, and to prepare well for the Nghe Tinh Folk Song Festival in 2016 and subsequent years.
