3 things women often forget when riding a motorbike.

Many women believe that oiling and handling machinery are men's responsibilities. Therefore, they often neglect the maintenance and proper use of their motorcycles.

Here are some things women often forget when riding motorbikes, leading to their bikes breaking down quickly.

1. Forget about the FI indicator light.

Many women who frequently use scooters have a habit of starting the engine and immediately speeding off without checking if the FI light is off. This action is particularly harmful to the vehicle, causing the engine to wear out quickly.

The FI light will illuminate to check the sensors and fill the fuel injectors in preparation for starting the engine. When the FI light turns off, it means the vehicle is ready to be started. Wait until the FI light is off before starting the vehicle to allow the sensors to function properly and avoid potential problems with the ignition control unit (IC) or fuel pump.

Women should maintain the habit of letting the engine idle for a short while before gently accelerating, avoiding rapid acceleration immediately after starting the engine and then beginning to ride.

2. Forgetting to change the oil.

For many women, changing engine oil is considered a "luxury" because they usually don't have this habit. And when they do change the oil, they themselves are not aware of which type of oil is for scooters and which is for motorcycles.

Regular oil changes with the correct type are also particularly important, as they increase engine lifespan and help machinery run more smoothly.

3. Neglecting maintenance

Many women, and even some men, often don't pay much attention to maintaining their vehicles. They usually only go to a motorcycle repair shop or service center when their vehicle breaks down.

That's not even counting the cases where people know their car has a problem but remain indifferent, just thinking "as long as it runs, that's all that matters," which only makes the problem worse.

Regular maintenance based on mileage is crucial for scooters. It will help prevent your scooter from deteriorating too quickly and minimize serious damage to the engine and other components.
