Mother and children hit by car on the way to school

On the way to take her child to school, Ms. Tuyen’s motorbike was hit by a Lacetti car. The mother and daughter are in critical condition, while the 3-year-old boy died.

The accident occurred at 1:30 p.m. on March 21 on National Highway 1A, passing through Cam Trung Commune (Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh). The victims were initially identified as Truong Thi Tuyen (37 years old, residing in Cam Trung Commune) and her two children Hoang Van Vu (3 years old) and Hoang Thi Phuong Uyen (10 years old).

At that time, Ms. Tuyen was driving a motorbike with a Ha Tinh license plate carrying her two children to school. When crossing the road through village 10, Cam Trung commune, to go to Cam Trung Primary School, she was suddenly hit by a Lacetti car with license plate 38H driven by Hoang Dinh Hai (30 years old, resident of Ky Dong commune, Ky Anh district) going from South to North.

The strong collision caused Vu to die on the spot. Ms. Tuyen and her daughter were seriously injured and were taken to Ha Tinh General Hospital for emergency treatment.

At the scene, the motorbike was dragged about 30 meters, completely deformed, the front end was crushed. The right front of the car was broken, many pieces of both vehicles along with oil stains and blood stains were spread on the road.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the incident. The police then called a tow truck to remove the badly damaged car and clear the scene.
