Three orphans received 60 million VND from readers and benefactors.

The Vinh City Charity Association and Buddhist monks and children from Pho Mon Pagoda donated 7.7 million VND to three orphaned children in Tan Huong village, Yen Khe (Con Cuong).

On November 26th, a group of volunteers residing in Vinh City and Buddhist monks and children from Pho Mon Pagoda visited, encouraged, and donated 7.7 million VND to support three orphaned children in Tan Huong village, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district, as reported by Nghe An Newspaper.

This money was donated by philanthropists living in Vinh and Buddhist monks and children from Pho Mon Pagoda. In addition, the delegation also gave some items such as clothes, books, milk, and necessities to the three children.

As previously reported, three siblings: Vi Van Sinh (14 years old), Vi Thi Linh (10 years old), and Kha Hai Dang (13 months old - half-sibling) from Tan Huong village, Yen Khe commune (Con Cuong district) have recently become orphans after their mother, Kha Thi Kim, passed away last November due to glomerulonephritis. Their father also left home nearly 10 years ago. Facing poverty, the children rely on their grandmother, who is over 60 years old.

After the article was published, many readers visited and offered gifts and support to the three children. To date, the children have received 60 million VND from benefactors.

Representatives from Pho Mon Pagoda and benefactors presented gifts to encourage underprivileged students who excelled in their studies at Con Cuong Ethnic Minority Boarding Junior High School.

Also on this occasion, the charity group presented 25 gifts to 25 underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies at Con Cuong Ethnic Minority Boarding Junior High School, with each gift worth between 100,000 and 200,000 VND.
