30 wooden blocks "dodge" Vinh bypass on Christmas day

(Baonghean.vn)- Mobile Forest Ranger and Forest Fire Prevention Team No. 1 (Forestry Department) has just discovered and arrested a case of illegal timber transportation on Vinh bypass.

At 5:00 p.m. on December 24, upon receiving the report, Mobile Forest Ranger and Forest Fire Prevention Team No. 1 (Forestry Sub-Department) inspected 3 trucks with license plates 81C 081 86; 81C 079 67; 81C 058 12 traveling on Vinh bypass, in Hung Loi commune (Hung Nguyen district).

Upon inspection, the working group discovered that the vehicle contained a large quantity of forest products that differed from the quantity and type of wood presented in the transport documents. It is estimated that the volume of wood being transported exceeded and differed from the presented documents by about 30 m3.

Currently, the authorities are temporarily detaining the vehicle and the above-mentioned amount of wood to investigate and clarify and handle according to the provisions of law.
