335 tax officials disciplined.
According to information from the Ministry of Finance, 355 tax officials were found to have violated regulations during inspections, and 335 of them have been subjected to administrative penalties.

According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first six months of 2017, the entire tax system conducted 829 internal audits (including 721 planned audits and 108 unscheduled audits) at 870 units.
As a result, 188 units were found to have committed violations, with the amount of tax violations exceeding 2,700 billion VND (of which: the amount recommended for recovery is over 2,400 billion VND, and other recommendations amount to 283 million VND). The amount already recovered and remitted to the state budget is 1,355 billion VND.
Notably, the Ministry of Finance reported that 355 tax officials were found to have violated regulations during inspections, and 335 of them have been subjected to administrative penalties.
This included reviewing and learning from mistakes for 326 people, reprimanding 4 people, issuing warnings to 3 people, demoting 1 person, and dismissing 1 person or referring them to the investigative agency.
"Through internal audits, all detected violations have been reported, processed, and financially recovered; officials who committed violations have been dealt with strictly and promptly; thereby drawing lessons and developing corrective measures to strengthen tax management throughout the system to better perform the state management function in the field of taxation," the Ministry of Finance emphasized.
