Four contestants win prizes in the "Accounting Talent Search 2025" competition.
To enhance the knowledge of university accounting students and create a healthy and beneficial platform for students to demonstrate their understanding, develop logical thinking skills, and improve problem-solving skills, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, Nghe An University, is organizing the "Accounting Talent Search 2025" competition.
The competition attracted over 100 participants and consisted of three rounds: the search, the challenge, and the final.
In the "Search" round, contestants answered 50 multiple-choice questions covering specialized knowledge in accounting, auditing, foreign languages, etc., within 60 minutes. At the end of Round 1, 10 outstanding individuals were selected to participate in Round 2, the "Challenge".
In Round 2, the "Challenge," contestants will be interviewed in person. This is not only a test of professional knowledge in accounting, auditing, and foreign languages, but also an opportunity for contestants to demonstrate their capabilities, confidence, and potential for future career development. Through the intense and challenging interview process, the organizers have selected the four most outstanding contestants to advance to the final round. These contestants not only demonstrated solid professional knowledge in accounting and auditing but also possessed impressive communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong character.
On the evening of April 3rd, the four most outstanding contestants went through the third round, the "Finals," with four segments: Warm-up, Obstacle Course, Acceleration, and Finish Line.
Each round consisted of quick-answer questions, logical thinking, real-world accounting scenarios, and specialized accounting English. The final night was incredibly intense with a close race for points among the contestants.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to contestant Tran Thi An (class K9A2); the Second Prize to contestant Tran Thi Hong Hanh (class K9A1); and the Third Prize to contestants Bui Thi Vui (class K9A2) and Truong Thuy Duong (class K9A1), both from the Accounting Department.
The total prize money for the final round amounts to nearly 100 million VND, including: First Prize worth 21,950,000 VND; Second Prize worth 20,950,000 VND; and Third Prize worth 20,450,000 VND.
