40 individuals were awarded the 'Learning Never Ends' scholarship.
On the morning of October 2nd, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning organized a seminar to improve the effectiveness of promoting learning and talent, building a learning society in the new context, and awarded the "Learning Never Ends" scholarship for 2024.
Also attending were: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Phan Thanh Doai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of relevant departments and agencies; leaders of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning; and representatives of the Associations for the Promotion of Learning from 21 districts, cities, and towns.
This is a meaningful activity in commemoration.Vietnam Education Promotion Day(2/10). This aims to encourage all levels of the population and social organizations to participate in the work of promoting learning and talent, honoring exemplary students, and collectives and individuals with achievements in promoting learning and talent.
In his opening remarks at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning Nguyen Thanh Hien affirmed: In recent years, the work of promoting learning and talent, and building a learning society has been given attention, leadership, and guidance by the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and people's organizations in the province, achieving many important results.
Currently, the province has 21/21 district-level Associations for the Promotion of Learning, 460/460 commune, ward, and town-level Associations for the Promotion of Learning; over 4,000 associations for the promotion of learning at the block, hamlet, village, and community levels; over 9,200 family clan and hometown association committees for the promotion of learning; and over 2,200 committees for the promotion of learning in agencies and units.
Every year, the various levels of the association mobilize between 130 and 150 billion VND to promptly encourage exemplary students and help students from disadvantaged backgrounds to excel in their studies.

With the aim of improving the effectiveness of promoting learning and talent development and building a learning society in the new context, at the seminar, delegates presented many papers sharing experiences in implementing learning promotion work at the grassroots level.

Several presentations addressed issues related to the development of the association's organization and grassroots staff, solutions to improve the effectiveness of promoting learning and talent, building a learning society in ethnic minority areas, solutions to build and replicate learning models, and building a learning society; applying President Ho Chi Minh's idea of "Learning never ends" to campaigns promoting learning and talent and building a learning society.

Also at the ceremony, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning awarded the "Learning Never Ends" scholarship to 40 outstanding individuals who demonstrated a spirit of self-learning in 2024.
The "Learning Never Ends" scholarship is an initiative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning, aiming to implement President Ho Chi Minh's teachings for students who actively study, overcome difficulties, and achieve excellent academic results, as well as for adults who achieve academic success, effectively apply their knowledge to their work, and serve as shining examples of lifelong learning in society and the community. Each scholarship is worth 1,000,000 VND.
