40 teams have registered to participate in the Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television Cup 2026.
The 2026 Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament is receiving great attention from localities throughout the province, with 40 teams registering to participate in two age groups: Youth and Children.
According to the registration list from the Organizing Committee, as of May 19th, the 2026 Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament has 40 participating teams, including 17 youth teams and 23 children's teams.
This year, many localities continue to maintain the presence of football teams in both age groups, such as Hoang Mai ward, Thanh Vinh ward, Dong Hieu commune, Tam Hop commune, Que Phong commune, Hung Nguyen Nam commune, Quynh Luu commune, and Nghia Dan commune.
Besides the traditionally strong teams, this year's tournament also saw the emergence of many new units following the implementation of the two-tiered local government model. Among them, Thien Nhan commune was one of the teams that attracted attention as it formed its first team to participate in the biggest children's football tournament in Nghe An province.
Notably, defending champions Hoang Mai Children's League are once again participating with the determination to retain their title. Meanwhile, many teams such as Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, and Thanh Vinh are also expected to create exciting competition in this year's season.
More than just a sporting event for teenagers and children, the Nghe An Newspaper Cup is also considered a place to discover and nurture many young football talents in the province. From this tournament, many players have matured to play for Song Lam Nghe An and the national youth teams.
According to the plan, the 2026 Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament will kick off on June 6th, promising many exciting and vibrant matches for football fans in Nghe An.
