(Baonghean.vn) -Que Phong district has 4 border communes with nearly 40 villages that do not yet have access to the national power grid. These are major obstacles that make it difficult for these communes to develop economically and socially.

Que Phong district has four border communes: Tri Le, Nam Giai, Hanh Dich, and Thong Thu. The lives of the people in the border areas are still very difficult, so the results achieved in building new rural areas are still very modest.

In Tri Le commune alone, 8 out of 33 villages lack electricity, and 8 Mong ethnic minority villages do not have roads, causing local people to face many difficulties in economic and social development.

Mr. Le Van Giap, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Phong district, said: To date, the four border communes of the district have only met 6-7 criteria per commune. Nearly 40 villages in these four border communes still lack access to the national power grid. To enable these border communes to develop their economy and build new rural areas, in addition to investing in road construction and electricity supply, the government needs to implement long-term economic development policies to create livelihoods for the people...
