Here's a tip for you:
In addition to using the "gua sha" method to treat colds, you can combine it with steam inhalation to relieve symptoms of both cold-induced and heat-induced colds.
The steam pot usually contains leaves rich in essential oils such as lemon leaves, pomelo leaves, perilla, basil, mint, and lemongrass leaves with antiseptic properties, or leaves with antibiotic properties such as garlic, ginger, and onion, combined with leaves that have cooling (fever-reducing) properties such as bamboo leaves and fig leaves.
Add about 200-300g of the leaves to a pot with 2-3 liters of boiling water. Cover tightly and simmer for a few more minutes. Cover yourself with a blanket and wear shorts to ensure your face is exposed to the steam. Steam for about 15-20 minutes, then dry yourself and put on your clothes immediately.
