(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 26th, in Nghi Loc district, the Department of Education and Training and the Police Department of Nghe An province held a conference to review the results of 5 years of implementing school security meetings for general education and continuing education centers in cluster 2, including the districts of Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai town, Cua Lo town and Vinh city.

Comrade Thai Huy Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tri - Deputy Head of Department PA83 of the Provincial Police, chaired the conference.

Over the past five years, school security work in Cluster 2 has achieved many remarkable results. Accordingly, the planning and implementation of school security tasks have been given significant attention. Coordination with local authorities in ensuring school security and order has become increasingly close, responsible, and effective.

During the period 2011-2016, the security and order situation in schools within the cluster remained generally stable. Incidents related to school security and order were promptly and effectively resolved through coordinated efforts between schools, the police, and other relevant agencies, with a strong educational impact. Over the five years, the cluster recorded over 7,700 students and 86 teachers who violated laws and regulations. Of these, 33 students were expelled.
