According to a resident of Dong Xuyen village, the weather has been hot these past few days, and many people have been swimming in the river. A group of four children were swimming near the fish cages. The owner of the cages asked the children to carry an iron bridge down to the cages, which led to the tragic incident.

"Now the whole village is focused on preparing for the children's funerals. Looking at the row of coffins, everyone is shocked and heartbroken," this person expressed.
