Hung Temple Festival – Phu Tho

This year’s Hung Temple Festival in Phu Tho lasts for 5 days from April 21 to 25, or from the 6th to the 10th of the 3rd lunar month; hosted by Phu Tho province, with the invitation of four more provinces: Thai Nguyen, Quang Nam, Binh Duong and Kien Giang representing the regions to participate.

The provinces that jointly organize the Hung Kings Temple Festival will participate in presenting offerings from each province to express gratitude to the Hung Kings at the Upper Temple on March 9. On the morning of March 10, provincial leaders will wear ceremonial robes and hold an incense offering ceremony at the Upper Temple. In addition, the provinces may have local artistic activities to serve tourists attending the festival.

This year, the festival is organized similarly to previous years with the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings on March 5, the death anniversary of the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan, the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Mother Au Co on March 6... In addition, there are also palanquin ceremonies in the suburbs, folk cultural activities at Hung Temple, and street folk festivals.

Hue Festival

From April 27 to May 2, Hue Festival will be held in the dreamy ancient capital. The community festival program is recreated in a large space, contributing to reviving the traditional cultural values ​​of the imperial land.

Participating in the Festival, visitors will enjoy many special programs such as: royal night, Nam Giao ceremony, Truyen Lo ceremony, Ao Dai festival, kite flying, poetry performance, human chess, racing... Visitors will enjoy exquisite royal music performances, sip a cup of royal tea with crispy sesame cakes.

Coming to Hue at this time, visitors will not only admire the temples, mausoleums and poetic scenery, but also have the opportunity to see a new ancient capital with night activities. A light show from 1,000 LED lights will take place on the walking street, and a cannon shooting performance will be performed at the flagpole.

Ha Long Carnival

The 2018 Cua Lo Tourism Festival will be held on the night of April 29, with the theme “Cua Lo: Convergence and Shine”. The program is expected to last 90 minutes and is divided into two parts: the ceremony and the festival.
