This program was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the morning of March 17th.Members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam: Nguyen Xuan Cuong - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Nguyen Dac Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, chaired the conference. Representatives from central ministries, departments, and agencies, as well as Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the conference.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung highly appreciated the heartfelt and responsible contributions from the localities. He requested that Party committees, government agencies, and the people raise their awareness and responsibility in protecting and developing forests. The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development the task of finalizing the Law on Forest Protection and Development for submission to the upcoming National Assembly session; and that localities must...Develop a program to implement the sustainable forestry development goals for the period 2016-2020.
2. The General Director of VTV works in Nghe An.
On the morning of March 18th, a delegation from Vietnam Television, led by Comrade Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Director General of Vietnam Television, visited and laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien historical site in Nam Dan district.

At the Kim Lien historical site, Comrade Tran Binh Minh and the delegation respectfully laid flowers and offered incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their boundless gratitude for his immense contributions, the brilliant leader of our Party and people; an outstanding figure in the international communist and workers' movement. He dedicated and sacrificed his entire life to the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness for the Vietnamese people and the world.
On the same day, a delegation from Vietnam Television held a working session with the leaders of Nghe An province to discuss several related issues.
3. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visits a high-tech economic model in Quy Hop.
On March 16th, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – visited high-tech application models in Quy Hop district.

During his visits, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong highly appreciated the economic models in Quy Hop district that have boldly applied new technologies to enhance product value, overcome the difficult period of the economic crisis, and adapt to the requirements of deep integration.
Later that afternoon, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong and the delegation held a working session with the leaders of Quy Hop district.
4. Nghe An Province honors 26 outstanding youth union members.
On the evening of March 17th, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized a ceremony to honor 20 outstanding young people who followed President Ho Chi Minh's teachings and awarded the March 26th Prize to 6 exemplary Youth Union members in 2017.
The 2017 Nghe An Province Commendation Ceremony for Outstanding Young People Following Uncle Ho's Teachings and Awarding the March 26th Prize aims to honor young people who have excelled in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, contributing to the country and their homeland with their intellect, youthful energy, enthusiasm, and aspirations.
At the commendation ceremony, in the report summarizing the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in 2016, Comrade Pham Tuan Vinh affirmed that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example has become a central and continuous content in the activities of all levels of the Youth Union.

Also at the ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union awarded prizes for the "Youth Union Branch Activity Moments" contest, including: 6 consolation prizes, 2 third prizes, 2 second prizes, and 1 first prize. Certificates of merit were awarded to 7 units that organized the provincial-wide youth union branch activities well. Simultaneously, an exchange program was held with outstanding young people from Ky Son, Nghia Dan districts and Thai Hoa town. The delegates shared their experiences and contributions to the local youth union movement, inspiring the audience with the enthusiasm and dedication of young people to their homeland and country.
On this occasion, the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province organized a dialogue to listen to the opinions, thoughts, and aspirations of young people.
5. Vinh City launches campaign to clear sidewalks starting April 15th.
At a meeting of the Vinh City Party Committee with the City People's Committee, relevant units, and wards and communes on March 17th, Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee - emphasized: Starting today (March 17th), the city will organize the dissemination of the policy of reclaiming sidewalks to all levels of the population so that people will voluntarily comply, and coercive measures will only be used as a last resort. Local authorities are responsible for maintaining the sidewalk space, and this responsibility is linked to the responsibility of the heads of units, wards, and communes.

The organizational process consists of four steps:
Step 1: Organize awareness campaigns and encourage households with illegal constructions to dismantle them voluntarily.
Step 2: Conduct a survey and assess the current situation regarding violations of traffic safety regulations in urban areas, including roadways and sidewalks, within Vinh City.
Step 3: Launch a campaign to raise awareness, inspect, handle violations, and clear encroachments on traffic safety corridors, and organize sidewalks and roadsides in Vinh City.
Step 4: Maintain the results of the clearance operation.
The city has established a Steering Committee for Urban Order with 13 members in the Standing Committee, chaired by the Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee, and has also formed a support team and developed regulations for the operation of the Steering Committee and the support team.
