1. Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung attended the Conference to review the plan on forest protection and development for the period 2011-2016 associated with restructuring the forestry sector.

In his concluding remarks at the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung highly appreciated the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the localities. Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung requested Party committees, authorities and people at all levels to raise awareness and responsibility in protecting and developing forests. The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to complete the Law on Forest Protection and Development to submit to the upcoming National Assembly session; localities mustDevelop a program to implement the goal of sustainable forestry development for the period 2016-2020.

2. VTV General Director works in Nghe An

3. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited the high-tech economic model in Quy Hop

4. Nghe An honors 26 outstanding youth union members

On the evening of March 17, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held a ceremony to honor 20 outstanding youths following Uncle Ho's teachings and awarded the March 26 Award to 6 outstanding members in 2017.

Also at the ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union awarded the "Moments of Youth Union Activities" Contest including: 6 Encouragement prizes, 2 Third prizes, 2 Second prizes and 1 First prize. Certificates of Merit were awarded to 7 units that organized well the Youth Union activities in the whole province; At the same time, an exchange program was organized with the above outstanding young faces from Ky Son, Nghia Dan districts and Thai Hoa town. The delegates shared their experiences and contributions to the local Youth Union movement, inspiring the audience with the enthusiasm of youth to contribute to their homeland and country.

5. Vinh City launched sidewalk clearance campaign from April 15

At the meeting of Vinh City Party Committee with the City People's Committee, units and wards and communes in the area on March 17, Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized: Starting from today (March 17), the city will organize propaganda on the policy of reclaiming sidewalks to all classes of people so that people voluntarily implement it, and only when forced to do so. The local authorities are responsible for maintaining sidewalk space, associated with the responsibility of the heads of units, wards and communes.

Organizing work includes 4 steps:

Step 1: Organize propaganda and mobilize households with illegal constructions to voluntarily dismantle them.

Step 2: Organize a survey and assess the current situation of violations of traffic safety corridors, roads, and urban sidewalks in Vinh city.

Step 3: Launch a peak campaign to propagate, inspect, handle violations and clear encroachments on traffic safety corridors, and arrange roadsides and sidewalks in Vinh city.

Step 4: Maintain the results of the clearance campaign.

The city has established an Urban Order Steering Committee with 13 members in the Standing Committee, headed by the Vinh City Party Secretary, established a support team, and developed operating regulations for the Steering Committee and the support team.
