On October 27, 2016, a video appeared on Facebook showing a female student being brutally beaten by a group of classmates. A group of girls stomped on her face, pulled her hair, repeatedly slapped her, and kneed her in the face. Even more disturbingly, the victim was forced to lick her classmates' feet. This sparked widespread outrage.

When the video was posted, the police got involved and went to the victim's house. The victim was identified as VNTU (born in 2001, a female student at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School, Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City).

The female student recounted being beaten a month ago and told her parents she had fallen off her bike. The incident stemmed from a personal conflict. The group of female students who assaulted her have since dropped out of school.

The fight took place on October 6, 2016, in Quynh Luu (Nghe An province). Specifically, a female student sent a message on Facebook but received no reply. Believing her classmates were disrespecting her, a group of female students from Quynh Long Secondary School brutally attacked female students from Quynh Thuan Secondary School.

According to police investigations, in addition to the two children beaten in the video, another child was also beaten afterward. The victims have been identified as Ho Thi T., Bui Thi M., and Le Thi Q., ​​all students at Quynh Thuan Secondary School in Quynh Luu District.

According to Le Thi Q., ​​some students from Quynh Long Secondary School had previously messaged her on Facebook, but she did not reply. Afterward, this group of students became angry and called the three victims to Eo Beach (on the coast of Quynh Thuan commune) to beat them. Significantly, this was not the first time the girls had been beaten; they had been assaulted many times before.

The incident occurred around 2 PM on August 27th in the area near the landfill in Bac Son ward (Sam Son town). The female student who was assaulted is H. (15 years old, residing in Nam neighborhood, Truong Son ward, Sam Son town). H. is a 10th-grade student at Sam Son Town High School.

The group of girls involved in beating H. included Le Thi Trang (16 years old, residing in Dung Lien neighborhood, Truong Son ward), Le Thi Yen (16 years old, residing in Minh Hai neighborhood, Bac Son ward), and Cao Thi Kim Xuan (14 years old, residing in Trung Moi neighborhood, Trung Son ward, Sam Son town). All three girls had dropped out of school.

Here, the group attacked H., punching and kicking her, and hitting her head with a helmet, causing injuries. Not stopping there, they also tried to strip off her outer and inner clothing before leaving. At this time, two boys named Khánh and Phúc (residents of Trung Sơn ward) used their phones to record the incident and later uploaded it online.

In the video, the female students in white shirts slapped, pulled the hair of, and kicked the other female student in the face while hurling insults. Despite the victim crying and begging (even using polite pronouns like "yes" and "I"), the four girls showed no mercy. Around them, a large group of male and female students stood watching and laughing but did not intervene to stop this offensive behavior. The incident occurred at Tran Phu Junior High School in Hue City.
