Information from the Health Department of Do Luong District: On the afternoon of May 9th, an incident occurred at Thuan Son Commune Kindergarten, Do Luong District.poisoningFood poisoning affected approximately 50 children. After exhibiting symptoms of food poisoning, the children were transferred to Thuan Son Commune Health Station for care and treatment.
Some children were taken directly to Do Luong District General Hospital by their parents for treatment. Doctors at the hospital said that the children who suffered from food poisoning were experiencing mild dehydration and were being given electrolyte replacement. The children are currently being closely monitored and treated; there are no signs of their condition worsening.

The initial assessment of the cause of the poisoning is that the children ate yogurt around 3 PM. This assessment is plausible, as there were 2-year-old children at the kindergarten who did not eat the yogurt and did not show any signs of poisoning. Currently, the Nghe An Provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department is present in Do Luong and is coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate this poisoning incident in detail.
