6 Simple Traditional Chinese Medicine Remedies to Protect Your Skin During Autumn and Winter

Oral medication

Lesson 1:16g Pueraria root, 12g Rehmannia root, 20g mulberry leaves, 16g black sesame seeds, 20g Eclipta prostrata, 16g Polygonum multiflorum, 12g Paeonia lactiflora, 12g jujube, 16g Ophiopogon japonicus, 10g Glycyrrhiza glabra, 10g Chrysanthemum indicum. Decoction: Drink one dose per day, divided into three portions. Uses: Moisturizes the skin, increases body fluids, and retains moisture. A course of treatment lasts 10 days.

Lesson 2:16g of Eclipta prostrata, 16g of Angelica sinensis, 12g of Rehmannia glutinosa, 16g of Paeonia lactiflora, 10g of Lonicera japonica, 16g of Dioscorea opposita, 16g of Panax notoginseng, 12g of Glycyrrhiza glabra, 10g of Ziziphus jujuba, 16g of Centella asiatica leaves, 12g of Platycodon grandiflorus. Lesson 3:30g lotus seeds, 30g Euryale ferox seeds, 50g Coix seeds, 8g longan pulp, add 500ml water, simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Add a little honey before serving. Uses: Nourishes blood, moisturizes skin. A course of treatment lasts 10 days.

Topical medications

Lesson 1:Ingredients: 15g almonds, 1 egg white. Instructions: Grind the almonds into a fine powder and mix well with the egg white.
