After 6 years of construction, the Quynh Luu coastal dike is still "waiting"

(Baonghean.vn) - Construction began in 2010, but the coastal dike through Quynh Luu district has yet to be completed. The road surface is uneven, and the drainage works are not effective.

For many years, the dike surface has not been concreted, affecting the development of local sea tourism.

The coastal dike of Quynh Luu district is more than 6 km long, running through 4 communes: Quynh Nghia, Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh and Quynh Bang. This project was invested in by the state since 2010, with the aim of preventing salt water, serving tourism, avoiding storms... However, up to now, the project has only been concreted for nearly 4 km.

The saltwater prevention and drainage culvert on the coastal dike of Quynh Luu, through Quynh Nghia commune, is not effective, the steel part is rusted.

The delay in completing the project has affected the local tourism development, especially some saltwater prevention sluices and drainage through the dike are not effective, and some items are damaged.
