(Baonghean.vn) - In the first six months of the year, Catholic parishioners in Nghe An donated more than 12,000 square meters of land, dismantled nearly 5,000 boundary walls, contributed nearly 20 billion VND, and tens of thousands of man-days of labor... to build new rural areas.
On the morning of August 7th, the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An province held a conference to review the patriotic emulation movement during the first six months of the year and to implement tasks for the last six months. Attending the conference was Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The education of parishioners' children has also been a focus of attention for priests, pastoral councils, and families in recent years. At the conference, delegates also discussed and identified tasks for the last six months of the year. These included focusing on coordinating and promoting widespread dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations within the Catholic community. They also emphasized continuing to encourage the Catholic community to promote and effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and live a good and virtuous life"...
