60 teams participated in the first "Nghe An Province Robocon" competition in 2026.
On the morning of August 4th, in Cua Lo ward, the Provincial Youth Union organized the opening ceremony of the first "Nghe An Province Robocon" competition in 2026 and signed a cooperation agreement to implement the "AI for Impact" training program.
The first "Nghe An Province Robocon" competition in 2026 attracted nearly 60 teams from schools across the province. The competition is an intellectual and beneficial playground aimed at unleashing the potential and fostering the creative spirit and thinking of young people in researching technological platforms and skills, enhancing knowledge of programming, artificial intelligence, and robotics; and strengthening exchange and learning among units in the province.
This is the first time Nghe An has organized the provincial-level Robocon competition, contributing to the concretization of the Party, State, and province's policies on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Through this competition, the Organizing Committee hopes to create an environment for students to approach programming, robotics, and artificial intelligence in a practical way, learning to apply technology to solve problems in their studies and lives.
This contributes to fostering innovative thinking, identifying and nurturing students with technological aptitude, and creating a high-quality workforce to serve the province's development during the digital transformation era.
As part of the opening ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with ZTO Labs Joint Stock Company and Nhi Van Media Joint Stock Company, organized a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in implementing the "AI for Impact" course for youth union members and young people in Nghe An province.
The cooperation program aims to develop digital human resources, build a team of Youth Union officials, members, and young people with innovative thinking, gradually mastering technology and effectively applying artificial intelligence to learning, work, production, entrepreneurship, as well as in Youth Union work and youth movements.
On this occasion, Nhi Van Media Joint Stock Company presented gifts to the youth union members of Cua Lo ward.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 8 consolation prizes, and inspirational prizes for the two competition categories.
