600 students experience monastic life during the summer.
(Baonghean.vn) - From June 10th to 15th, the Buddhist Association of Nghe An province, Chi Linh Pagoda in Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An) organized a summer monastic life experience for 600 students in 2016.

Over the course of five days, 600 children aged 13 and above participated in the third retreat at Gam Pagoda, where they were guided in chanting scriptures, practicing walking meditation, listening to Dharma teachings, learning about Buddhist knowledge, and playing traditional games.
The children's living expenses at the temple during the retreat are fully covered. The activity aims to provide them with healthy recreation, opportunities to socialize and learn, to understand the good and beautiful aspects of life, to experience monastic life, to learn Buddhist teachings, and to listen to Dharma lectures appropriate for their age.
