600 students experience religious life this summer
(Baonghean.vn) - From June 10 to 15, the Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province, Chi Linh pagoda, Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An) organized for 600 students to experience the monastic life in the summer of 2016.

During the 5 days, 600 children from 13 years old and above participated in the 3rd retreat at Gam Pagoda and were guided in chanting, walking meditation, listening to Dharma, learning about Buddhism, and playing folk games.
The children are fully covered for living expenses at the temple during the course. The activities aim to help the children have fun, exchange and learn about good things and beautiful ideas in life, experience monastic life in a monastery, learn about the teachings, and listen to Dharma talks appropriate to their age.
