Seven SLNA players were called up for the 2019 U18 National Championship.

Today, the Vietnam Football Federation summoned the players for the Vietnam U18 team to prepare for the International Friendly Football Tournament in Hong Kong.

According to the plan, the U18 National team will train from April 6th to April 23rd, 2019 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center and will then participate in an international friendly tournament in Hong Kong.

In this training camp, SLNA has seven players called up, including: Goalkeeper Nguyen Van Ba, Tran Quoc Thanh, Vuong Van Huy, Tran Manh Quynh, Nguyen Xuan Binh, Dang Quang Tu, and Ho Khac Luong.

These are the outstanding players who performed excellently, helping U17 SLNA win the runner-up title at the 2018 National U17 Championship and recently winning the Bronze Medal with U19 SLNA at the 2019 National U19 Championship.

Previously, in preparation for the International U19 tournament, the squad list was announced with players from various clubs such as Hanoi, HAGL, SLNA, Da Nang, etc.

Among them, SLNA had 4 players who performed well and helped U19 SLNA win the bronze medal: Tran Quoc Thanh - Defender (2001 - 1m63), Dang Quang Tu - Midfielder (2001 - 1m71), Tran Manh Quynh - Midfielder (2001 - 1m66) and Nguyen Xuan Binh - Midfielder (2001 - 1m73).

SLNA coach Dinh Van Dung will also participate as an assistant to coach Guillaume Graechen in this tournament.
