The entire escape took only 34 seconds. According to the Korea Times, Choi is about 1.65 meters tall. The hole he squeezed through was about 15 centimeters high and 45 centimeters wide. He escaped while three prison guards were sleeping. However, Choi was recaptured six days later and held in a cell with a much smaller food slot. |
