Born in 1997, Tran Thi Dieu Lien is a former student of the English specialized class at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (Ho Chi Minh City). Born into a family where her father is a sign maker and her mother is a janitor at a university, Dieu Lien was entirely self-reliant and self-taught during her application for a scholarship to study in the United States.

During her high school years, Lien won numerous scholarships and achieved outstanding results in scientific research. Passionate about science, she frequently bought discarded items and cheap scrap materials to tinker with and create. Her most dedicated extracurricular activity was teaching underprivileged children.

Securing a full scholarship of $302,920 (approximately 6.8 billion VND) for four years at the prestigious Harvard University is a resounding success, a testament to her strong determination to overcome adversity. As a freshman, Lien plans to choose a major related to science and engineering.

Dao Vu Quang, a multi-talented student and ambassador from Ams High School, has successfully secured full scholarships to four prestigious American universities: Columbia University (Ivy League - Top 4 National University), Duke (Top 8 National University), Cornell (Ivy League - Top 15 National University), and Williams College (Top 1 Liberal Arts).

Having won numerous prestigious awards in Mathematics both domestically and internationally, this Ams High School ambassador was once the youngest representative from Vietnam to attend an international scientific conference in Israel. Most recently, he brought home a Silver Medal at the 2016 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Born in 1998, Pham Vu Hoang Ha is a former student of the French Bilingual Class at Hanoi – Amsterdam High School. For 12 consecutive years, she consistently achieved the title of All-Round Excellent Student. This young woman continuously won awards in the Hanoi city-level French language competitions for gifted students: Third prize in 2012, First prize in 2013, Third prize in 2015…

The Vietnamese girl had to go through a very rigorous selection process, from the application stage to the most stressful exam with 5 subjects in French (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, French). After overcoming many obstacles, Pham Vu Hoang Ha was the only candidate to reach the in-person interview stage and ultimately, she won the prestigious ASPF scholarship in 2016.

The ASPF scholarship will provide talented Vietnamese female students with 138,000 euros per year for three years of university (equivalent to 10.2 billion VND) to pursue a degree in Biotechnology in France.

The young man had previously received an award from President Obama and won scholarships from five prestigious American universities.

Having moved to the United States with his family in 2006, Diep Quoc Thang was only in the 4th grade at the time. From being unfamiliar with the new environment and not yet fluent in English, just 5 years later, on June 23, 2011, Diep Quoc Thang received a commendation from US President Barack Obama and the US Secretary of Education for his outstanding academic achievements.

Most recently, Thang graduated as valedictorian from Grover Cleveland Charter High School in the US with a GPA of 4.4 and immediately secured scholarships from two private universities and three top public universities in the US: Harvard (ranked #1), Yale (ranked #8), and the University of California - Berkeley (ranked #6), University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA, #10), and University of California - San Diego (UCSD, #40).

The petite and pretty girl, Ton Hien Anh, is the first student in the specialized Chinese language class at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School to successfully enroll in Harvard University, USA, with a full scholarship worth $320,000 (over 7 billion VND) for four years.

With her charming face, dimples, and bright eyes, Hien Anh modestly describes herself as a girl who is "not very intelligent and has to compensate with hard work." This 9X-generation student from Amsterdam High School not only "quickly conquered" the prestigious Harvard University but also simultaneously secured scholarships from several other American universities during this admissions season.

Having studied in the US since 10th grade, Nguyen Vo Minh Tram graduated from Nebraska High School with impressive academic achievements. The Vietnamese girl achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0/4.0, an ACT score of 35/36, and an SAT score of 2310/2400… along with numerous talent awards from Pius X High School and the state of Nebraska.

Not stopping there, this energetic girl born in 1998, active in extracurricular activities (such as leading the Pius X School Art Club, founding and president of the Pius X Science Bowl Club, program director of the Silver Lining 2016 project, member of the math club, and the Pius X girls' soccer team...), continued to impress many by winning a full scholarship worth $244,000 for four years of study (approximately 5.4 billion VND) from the University of Richmond and scholarships from five other American universities, including: New York University, Bowdoin College, University of Southern California, Denison College, Rutgers University, and an offer of admission from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
