With their luxurious and sophisticated designs, yet affordable prices, these luxury car models have the potential to win over even the most discerning customers.

2017 saw the launch of many luxury car models with a range of the latest amenities. Below are 8 of the most noteworthy models, all sharing a commitment to providing customers with the most enjoyable experiences.

1. Cadillac XT5

The 2017 Cadillac XT5 is a compact luxury SUV that replaces the Cadillac SRV, one of the brand's best-selling models.

The standard version comes equipped with a rear lift system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay smart system.

The company offered both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, all featuring an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque.

The starting price is $38,995.

2. Mazda 6 2.0 AT Premium

After several price reductions, the Mazda 6 has become an attractive model in its segment thanks to its affordable price, attractive appearance, and good performance. In Vietnam, the Mazda 6 is assembled in three versions: 2.0 AT, 2.0 AT Premium, and 2.5 AT Premium. The prices are 965, 999, and 1,165 million VND respectively.

With a budget of 1 billion VND, the Mazda 2.0 AT Premium is a suitable choice. This is a D-segment sedan, measuring 4,865 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,450 mm in height. It uses a 2.0 I4 Skyactiv engine, producing 153 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque.

The advantages of this model include its large size and numerous safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, ESP, and TRC traction control, all as standard equipment. In addition, the car also has hill-start assist, cruise control, keyless entry, and an electronic parking brake…

However, the Mazda 6 also has several drawbacks during use. For example, the rear headroom is quite low, which is inconvenient for people taller than 1.7m. The middle seat in the back is uncomfortable because the seatback is too high. The 2.0 engine is somewhat weak when carrying an unladen weight of 1,470 kg.

3. Honda CR-V 2017

The 2017 Honda CR-V has officially launched in the Thai market with both petrol and diesel versions, priced from over $40,500, and a 7-seater option.

Specifically, the diesel version of the 2017 Honda CR-V is equipped with a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, producing 160 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm at 2,000 rpm, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The DT EL 4WD version is priced at over $49,000, while the 2WD version costs $44,800.

Meanwhile, the petrol version features a 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, producing 173 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 228 Nm at 4,000 rpm, paired with a CVT transmission. This engine is compatible with E85 bioethanol fuel. The 2.4 EL 4WD version is priced at $44,800, while the 2WD version costs $40,500.

The 2017 CR-V boasts a bolder and sportier exterior, completely abandoning the rounded design elements of its predecessor. The layered LED headlights, a characteristic Honda design element already present on the Accord and Civic, create a new visual identity. The lower air intake automatically opens and closes to improve aerodynamics. The LED taillights extend further into the rear of the vehicle.

Inside, the interior has also received significant changes. First and foremost is the more spacious cabin, with the best rear legroom in its segment. The 7-inch central infotainment screen with a glossy black bezel gives it a modern look, and all the control buttons are touch-sensitive.

The instrument cluster, heavily influenced by the Civic, features a beautiful full TFT display. Adjacent to it are the addition of an electronic parking brake button, rollover assist, and ECON fuel-saving driving mode.

4. Jaguar F-Pace

The 2017 F-Pace attracts customer attention thanks to its stunning exterior design with bold lines, comfortable seats, and spacious cargo area. The all-wheel drive version is standard and features an 8-speed automatic transmission.

There are two engine options: a 3.0-liter V6 producing 380 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 180 horsepower and 318 lb-ft of torque.

The starting price is $40,990.

5. Honda Civic Type R 2018

Honda has just officially released the first images and details of the Type R version of the 10th-generation Honda Civic, just one day before its introduction at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Compared to the standard version, the 2018 Civic Type R differs with its Aero body kit.

The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned, the rear features a large spoiler, and the three-outlet exhaust system is centrally located in the rear bumper. The Honda logos are set against a red background on both the front and rear. Red accents on the front and rear bumpers and wheels are another distinguishing detail on the Civic Type R. The 20-inch black wheels are fitted with 245/30 tires, and both the headlights and taillights utilize LED technology.

In addition to the aforementioned changes, the 2018 Civic Type R also boasts a 38% increase in torsional rigidity. The suspension has also been improved for enhanced sporty handling. Inside, the interior features a 7-inch touchscreen, a premium sound system, and integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The seats are upholstered in black and red leather, and the steering wheel and dashboard are adorned with eye-catching red accents.

Powering the 2018 Civic Type R is a 2.0L turbocharged engine producing a maximum output of 316 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm. It's paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The 2018 Honda Civic Type R is assembled at the Swindon plant in England, alongside the hatchback version. The 2.0L turbocharged engine is sourced from Honda's Ohio plant in the USA. The Civic Type R will compete directly with the Ford Focus RS, with an estimated price starting at around $30,000.

6. Infiniti QX30

The 2017 Infiniti QX30 boasts a luxurious and attractive design with eye-catching, powerful metallic accents. The standard version comes equipped with smart keyless entry, a modern air conditioning system, satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The manufacturer equips all 2017 QX30 models with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission for both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.

The starting price is $29,950.

7. Range Rover Velar

Just days before the official opening of the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the British luxury car manufacturer decided to introduce the all-new 2018 Velar – a luxurious and sporty coupe-SUV that fills the gap between its larger sibling, the Sport, and its smaller sibling, the Evoque. The Velar will have a starting price of $49,900 in the US and £44,830 in the UK.

The Range Rover Velar has overall dimensions of 4,803 x 1,930 x 1,665 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,874 mm. Its chassis is made of aluminum, similar to the Jaguar F-Pace. The new Range Rover is smaller than the BMW X6 (4,909 mm long, 2,933 mm wheelbase) but larger than the X4 (4,671 mm long, 2,811 mm wheelbase). The Velar boasts a spacious 632L luggage compartment, which expands to 1,731L when the second row of seats is folded down.

In terms of design, the Velar boasts the distinctive styling of the Range Rover family. A notable design highlight of the Velar is its more steeply sloping rear roofline compared to its Sport sibling, and its modern interior featuring numerous technologies making their debut on Range Rover models.

Inside, the 2018 Velar's interior is designed with a minimalist approach, eliminating mechanical buttons and instead relying on touch controls. The center console features the familiar 10-inch touchscreen, with a separate display below to support various controls. Three physical buttons remain. Land Rover calls this new infotainment setup "Touch Pro Duo." The Velar's interior also boasts a panoramic sunroof, premium leather seats, touch-sensitive steering wheel controls, and more.

8. Lincoln Continental

Lincoln revived the Continental brand in 2017. This new sedan boasts a luxurious design with a spacious cabin, a powerful engine, and many modern amenities such as an intelligent driver's seat adjustment system with massage function.

The vehicle offers two drivetrain options: front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD), both paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2017 Lincoln has three engine options: a 3.7L V6, a 2.7L V6, and a 3.0L V6.

The starting price is $44,560.
