(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Provincial People's Committee, in the first eight months of the year, Nghe An province issued 13 decisions to revoke 13 projects due to delays or failure to implement them.

Thus, from 2012 to the present, Nghe An province has revoked 119 projects that were not implemented or were behind schedule. At the same time, it has reviewed and continued to advise on the handling and revocation of 29 projects that were nearing the end of their extension period, and granted extensions to 87 projects.
The Provincial People's Committee also requires investors to deposit project security funds for new projects and projects that are behind schedule to ensure investor accountability.
Several delayed projects were revoked in 2017, including: the resettlement construction project of Nghe An Shipbuilding and Construction Joint Stock Company; the household and industrial waste treatment plant of Tien Thinh Environmental Technology and Investment Consulting Services Joint Stock Company; the apartment and townhouse complex of Phuong Bac Trading Joint Stock Company; the Vinhland park, commercial service and housing complex of Vinh Urban Development Joint Stock Company; the ecological housing area of Thien Minh Construction, Trading & Services Co., Ltd.; the Vicem Hoang Mai urban area of Vicem Hoang Mai Joint Stock Company; and the commercial and office center of Phu Thanh Co., Ltd. (Vinh City)...
In the first eight months of the year, several key projects and works have become operational in Nghe An, such as Vinpearl Cua Hoi, Vissai Seaport, Do Luong Cement Plant, and HI-TEX Garment Factory.
