84.5% of families in Yen Thanh district have achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Family".

(Baonghean.vn) - After 15 years of implementing the "All people unite to build a cultured life" movement, 84.5% of families in Yen Thanh district have met the cultural standards.

On October 16th, Yen Thanh district held a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement, 20 years of the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas" campaign, and 10 years of implementing civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, and festivals.

Awards were presented to outstanding groups and individuals in the campaign.

Over the past 15 years of implementing the "National Unity in Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement, 84.5% of households in the district have met the cultural standards, a 20% increase compared to before. By the end of 2014, 283 villages had achieved the title of Cultural Village, and more than 115,000 people regularly participated in physical exercise and sports.

The cultural life of the people is constantly improving; 100% of communes have electricity, and 95% of households have access to clean water; the cause of education and primary healthcare for the people is being prioritized.

On this occasion, Yen Thanh district awarded prizes to 41 outstanding collectives and individuals in the campaign.
