84.5% of families in Yen Thanh district achieved cultural title

(Baonghean.vn) - After 15 years of implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the whole Yen Thanh district has 84.5% of families meeting cultural standards.

On October 16, Yen Thanh district held a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", 20 years of the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", and 10 years of implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals.

After 15 years of implementing the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life”, up to now, the whole district has 84.5% of households meeting cultural standards, an increase of 20% compared to before. By the end of 2014, there were 283 villages achieving the title of Cultural Village, more than 115 thousand people regularly practice sports.

The cultural life of the people is increasingly improved, 100% of communes have electricity, 95% of households have access to clean water; education and primary health care for the people are focused on.

On this occasion, Yen Thanh district awarded 41 outstanding collectives and individuals in the campaign.
