9 teachers in Nghe An delivered a baby on the roadside
(Baonghean.vn) - On the way home from school, a group of primary school teachers stopped by the roadside to help a Khmu woman give birth.
The incident took place on National Highway 16 through Ky Son district (Nghe An) at noon on January 16.
According to teacher Nguyen Thi Chau, a teacher at Pha Danh Primary School, Ky Son District, at the time mentioned above, she and 8 other teachers in the school had just finished class. On the way from school to Muong Xen town, passing through Kim Da village, Pha Danh commune, they suddenly saw 2 people struggling with a woman lying on the ground.

When they stopped the car to ask, they learned that a woman was giving birth on the side of the road. Without hesitation, the girls assigned each other a task; one ran into the village to ask for towels, one found a bucket to catch water, borrowed tools from the locals, and the remaining one helped the woman deliver the baby.
