According to the organizers, most of the submitted projects demonstrated new and creative scientific ideas. These ideas stemmed from what the students observed in their daily lives or delved into the study of the psychology, cognition, and behavior of students of different age groups regarding issues in life and learning.
In addition, students are also interested in pressing social issues such as environmental pollution control; disaster prevention; public health protection; and the preservation and promotion of historical and cultural relics of ethnic minorities.

During the implementation process, the authors paid attention to applying knowledge learned in the classroom and practical knowledge gained in life to scientific research. Many projects raised issues of improvement and integration to create smart devices that meet the needs of the community in healthcare, production, learning, and daily life.
