The total power of fishing vessels in the province is 630,184 horsepower (CV), of which the total power of vessels over 90CV in Nghe An reaches 578,962CV.

The reason why 100% of the vessels were not inspected is due to some vessels sitting idle, awaiting sale without completing registration and inspection procedures; some ship owners applied for approval for modifications but did not complete the necessary paperwork and procedures, resulting in a lower inspection rate than planned.
Currently, Nghe An province has 17,651 workers engaged in seafood exploitation, of which 14,652 are engaged in offshore fishing.
