Runner-up Phuong Anh receives a full doctoral scholarship worth nearly 3 billion VND.
First runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020, Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh, continues her education with a full doctoral scholarship in Management from the prestigious RMIT University.
Miss Vietnam runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh has officially received a full scholarship for a four-year PhD program in Management at RMIT University. She shared this news on November 29th, marking a new milestone in her academic journey.
The scholarship was awarded based on outstanding academic achievement, the quality of the research proposal, and the applicant's experience and capabilities. To achieve this, Phuong Anh dedicated significant time to preparing her research topic and successfully navigated rigorous selection rounds.
From beauty pageant runner-up to lecturer and doctoral research student
In the future, Phuong Anh will pursue a doctoral program while continuing her teaching job at RMIT Ho Chi Minh City. Alongside her academic career, she will also continue to participate in entertainment events as an MC and fashion model.
Previously, in June 2024, after receiving her master's degree, Phuong Anh became a university lecturer. She aspires to build an image of a young, approachable, and empathetic teacher who is a companion to her students. On social media, she frequently shares her activities at school, receiving much positive feedback for her intellectual beauty and simple lifestyle.
An admirable educational journey.
Phuong Anh's academic journey has always been marked by outstanding achievements. In September 2021, she received a 50% scholarship, worth 300 million VND, for a Master's degree in Global Trade from RMIT University.

Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh, born in 1998, is the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020. As a student, she won third prize in the 2016 National Excellent Student Competition in French and was directly admitted to several prestigious universities. In March 2021, she graduated as valedictorian in Information Management Systems from RMIT. In addition, she holds two impressive language certificates: IELTS 8.0 and DALF C1 in French.
A strong rear base
Regarding her personal life, Phuong Anh married businessman and PhD holder Ho Dac Duc in September 2023. Her husband, born in 1994, studied and earned his PhD in the UK. He has always been a supportive and caring partner to her during important events, creating a strong foundation for her to continue pursuing her career and academic passion.
