Runner-up Thuy Dung represents Vietnam at Miss International 2017

Runner-up Thuy Dung is urgently completing her application to the Department of Performing Arts to participate in the Miss International 2017 contest.

Thuy Dung will represent Vietnam at Miss International 2017, held from October 25 to November 14 in Tokyo, Japan.

Currently, Thuy Dung and the copyright holder - Elite Vietnam Company Limited have completed the procedures to request permission from the Department of Performing Arts.

Sharing information on her personal Facebook, runner-up Thuy Dung said: "As a contestant who grew up from Miss Vietnam, I think I have the responsibility to represent Vietnamese beauty and intelligence in competing in major and prestigious beauty contests around the world. This is also an honor that I must strive to train myself and make further breakthroughs."

Runner-up Thuy Dung was born in 1996. In addition to the title of 2nd Runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2016, she was also crowned Miss Foreign Trade University 2016. She is currently a 4th year student majoring in International Finance at Foreign Trade University. She can sing and play musical instruments, and communicate fluently in English and Japanese.

Thuy Dung is 1.72m tall, with measurements of 84-61-90. Since being crowned Miss Runner-up, she has received much love from the public for her friendliness, approachability, and lack of scandals./.
