(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 27th, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, Tien Phong Newspaper, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, held a press conference to announce the "Beach Beauty Queen" 2016 contest.

Actor Minh Tiep and his wife arrived very early before the press conference began.

The competition aims to honor and enhance the value of physical beauty, soul, talent, and intelligence of young Vietnamese women in general and young women of Nghe An in particular during the period of accelerated industrialization and modernization, striving towards the comprehensive beauty of Vietnamese women: "Truth - Goodness - Beauty". From there, a representative from Nghe An will be selected and introduced to participate in the Miss Vietnam 2016 competition.

Eligible participants are young Vietnamese women aged 18 to 27, currently living, studying, working, or employed in Nghe An province; and young women from Nghe An (or those whose hometown is Nghe An) currently living, studying, working, or employed in schools, agencies, units, businesses, or localities in provinces and cities nationwide and worldwide.
