Saudi Arabia: Hospital fire leaves at least 25 dead.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:30 AM on December 24th, a hospital in southwestern Saudi Arabia caught fire, killing at least 25 people and injuring hundreds more.

According to the Civil Defence agency, the fire occurred at Jazan Hospital in the intensive care and maternity ward.

The fire destroyed part of the hospital, killing at least 25 people and injuring 107 others.

Authorities mobilized 21 civil defense teams to assist in the rescue effort. The fire has now been brought under control, and police are beginning an investigation into the cause of the blaze.

As for the injured, rescue teams transported them to another hospital for treatment.
