Saudi Arabia: Hospital fire kills at least 25 people

(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:30 a.m. on December 24, a hospital in southwestern Saudi Arabia caught fire, killing at least 25 people and injuring hundreds of others.

According to the Civil Defense Agency, the fire broke out at Jazan hospital in the intensive care unit and maternity ward.

The fire destroyed part of the hospital, killing at least 25 people and injuring 107 others.

Authorities have mobilized 21 civil defense teams to the rescue. The fire has now been brought under control and police are investigating the cause of the fire.

As for the injured, rescue teams transferred them to another hospital for treatment.
