Similar to the previous training session, Coach Park continued to refresh the team with 3 "new recruits": Nguyen Van Vi, Vu Tuyen Quang and Adriano Schmidt.
Among them, the presence of Adriano Schmidt surprised many people because after Dang Van Lam, this is the first overseas Vietnamese player to catch the eye of coach Park Hang-seo. The Korean coach has many different reasons for making this decision.

First of all, it must be affirmed that Adriano Schmidt is a player with a good physique to play in the center-back position (1.85m tall). This 27-year-old center-back has a Vietnamese father and a German mother. He used to train and play for low-ranking clubs in Germany such as Ingolstadt, Eichstatt, Gerolfing or Schwabmünchen before returning to Vietnam to play for Hai Phong in 2018.
It took Adriano Schmidt quite a while to adapt to Vietnamese culture and football to become an important pillar of Hai Phong. This Vietnamese-American central defender played a total of 48 matches in the V-League for Hai Phong before moving to Binh Dinh at the beginning of the 2022 season.
Coach Park Hang-seo went directly to Quy Nhon Stadium to watch Adriano Schmidt's performance when Binh Dinh hosted Viettel in the opening round of V-League 2022. At that time, Binh Dinh lost (0-2), but Coach Park saw in Adriano Schmidt many important qualities to strengthen the defense of the Vietnam National Team.

In the previous training session (against Australia and China), Coach Park renewed the midfield and forwards with names like Tuan Hai and Van Vu. In this training session, Adriano Schmidt is one of three new names added to the defense.
