Who masterminded the leak of Clinton's emails?

Representatives of the US Democratic Party are the source of the leaked emails of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said former British diplomat Craig Murray, who is currently working for WikiLeaks.

"None of this (leaks) came from Russia. The source had legitimate access to the information. The documents were obtained as a result of internal leaks, not computer hacking," Murray said in an interview published Thursday by the Daily Mail.

The diplomat, who previously served as British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, told reporters that he personally traveled to Washington for the documents. According to him, the handover of the documents took place in a forested area near the American University.

Mr. Murray asserted that the unacceptable corruption surrounding the Clinton Foundation and the unfavorable conditions for the campaign of Mrs. Clinton's main rival in the battle for the Democratic nomination, Bernie Sanders, led the leaker to do this. As a result, this man decided to transfer the documents to the representative of WikiLeaks, but not directly, but through an intermediary.
