A heartwarming concert titled 'Love for Central Vietnam'

(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of October 21st, a charity fundraising concert titled "Love for Central Vietnam" was held at the Soviet-Nghe Tinh Museum (Dao Tan Street, Vinh City), organized by artists from Hanoi and Vinh City.

Meritorious ArtistDuc Long performed many emotionally rich songs about Central Vietnam.

The meticulously staged and emotionally rich concert, featuring performances by Meritorious Artist Duc Long, Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen, and singer Hoa Tran (Idol 2015), provided a memorable evening of interaction for music lovers in Vinh City.

In addition, the concert connected people, fostering sharing and empathy in the spirit of mutual support and compassion, contributing a spiritual value to the people of Central Vietnam and jointly raising funds for charity.

At the end of the concert, a total of over 17 million VND was raised. It is known that the artists had previously organized a charity fundraising concert in Hanoi, raising nearly 150 million VND.

Meritorious Artist Duc Long shared: “During a training session for artists in Ha Tinh, it rained heavily, and water flooded my house. After returning to Hanoi, I heard news reports about the flooding in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh, with many villages isolated. Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen and I decided to organize a charity concert to raise funds to help the people in Central Vietnam. Unexpectedly, the concert received a great response. Tonight, after the concert ends, we will travel to Huong Khe district (Ha Tinh) to help and support the people affected by the recent floods, using the donated money to rebuild their homes.”
