(Baonghean.vn) - In the early days of 2021, despite the drizzling rain and cold wind, many people traveled hundreds of kilometers to Vinh City to attend the Meeting of Collaborators of Nghe An Newspaper. Each person brought with them a joy to make the "common home" full of complete joy, and together they looked forward to a new Spring filled with faith and hope.

An enjoyable experience

From early morning, manycollaborators(Collaborators) gathered at the Nghe An Newspaper office to participate in a field trip to the grinding plant of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company and Vissai Nghi Thiet International Port (Nghi Loc). Despite being 200 km away, collaborator Vo Dinh Tuan (from the Culture - Sports and Communication Center of Tuong Duong District) still managed to be present to participate in the experience.

"The temperature dropped, it was very cold, but I still woke up at 3 a.m. to set off, because this was an important reunion, a heartwarming occasion of solidarity and sharing between the staff and reporters of the newspaper and our local collaborators. Coming here is like coming back to our common home, and receiving words of encouragement and support truly makes me feel warm."

Along with Dinh Tuan, many collaborators from distant locations also prepared for the event and arrived quite early, such as Ba Hau (Con Cuong), Cam Tu, Bong Mai (Tan Ky), Thu Huong (Quy Hop), and Quang Huy (Thai Hoa town)... Despite the long journey in the cold, everyone clearly showed their joy in the moment of reunion through smiles, glances, and firm handshakes.

This year, to change the atmosphere of the meeting, the Editorial Board decided to organize a field trip for reporters and contributors to enhance learning, exchange experiences, and strengthen solidarity. In particular, the field trip included a photo contest, a way for contributors to share their photographic skills. This will contribute to improving the quality of news articles and photos contributed to the publications of Nghe An Newspaper.

Leaving Vinh city, the vehicle heads towards Nghi Thiet beach (Nghi Loc), where the Nghi Thiet cement grinding plant and seaport are located.Song Lam Cement Joint Stock CompanyThe journey lasted about 30 minutes, but it was always filled with singing, laughter, and cheerful poems that dispelled the cold.

For most people, this was their first time here, so everyone was excited about the modern production line, especially when visiting the more than 2-kilometer-long dock used to transport products to large cargo ships. The northeast wind blew fiercely, the cold penetrating to the skin and flesh, but everyone continued working diligently.

Photographer Nguyen Trong Sach, a long-time contributor to the photo section, spent the entire day tinkering with his cameras, seemingly unwilling to waste even a single minute. “This is a rare opportunity to get close to the production line and the port, to capture the scenery and important and special moments. Having been associated with Nghe An Newspaper for many years, I always appreciate the sharing and encouragement from the editorial staff. Therefore, I always dedicate my impressive works and beautiful moments to the newspaper’s publications,” shared Trong Sach.

Having spent his entire life surrounded by the mountains and forests of the Mekong Delta, with its villages, streams, and steep hills, Bá Hậu, a contributor to the project, couldn't hide his excitement upon his first visit to a large-scale construction site on the beach. He took the opportunity to capture images of the factory, the seaport, the countryside, and the production activities, especially the working atmosphere of the workers.

Mr. Hau said: “Although today's field trip was short, it gave me an interesting experience about production activities as well as a glimpse into life in the coastal region. In other words, the field trip and experience helped me broaden my horizons and life experience, and learn more about operational skills, especially in terms of photography.”

Within one morning, the field trip andexperienceThe work at the Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Plant and Seaport brought new and exciting experiences to the collaborators. More importantly, it allowed them to interact, strengthen solidarity and camaraderie; exchange and learn from each other's experiences, and work together towards the goal of improving their professional skills and contributing more to the publications of Nghe An Newspaper.

For the 22-year-old, attending this major conference is a great honor, as well as an opportunity to learn and experience more in journalism.

“Today, attending the conference at the editorial office, I initially felt a little apprehensive and awkward because most of the people around me were older and had many years of experience in the profession. But that feeling quickly dissipated, giving way to joy, closeness, and sincerity. Coming here, participating in this experience and meeting the staff, reporters, and contributors, I feel I have gained more practical knowledge and become more confident and mature in my thinking and work.”
