Heartwarming acts of kindness
As Tet (Lunar New Year) approaches, vehicles carrying love continue to roll, traversing remote roads to reach disadvantaged areas. These quiet but meaningful acts of kindness by philanthropists are a testament to the spirit of "helping those in need."
Bringing love against the tide.
In recent days, besides his daily work at the company, Mr. Pham Van Bao (born in 1989) – Chairman of the Red Flame Charity Club of Nghe An – has been busy with a meaningful activity: collecting clothes and books from...kind hearts.
Carefully arranging the neatly stacked piles of clothes into bags, Mr. Bao shared that these were gifts that he and the members of the Red Flame Charity Club of Nghe An had collected and mobilized to give to children in Tuong Duong district as part of the "Warm Tet for Children" charity program, which will take place in a few days.

This program is the brainchild of Mr. Bao and his club, stemming from an understanding of the difficulties faced by children at the Cham Puong kindergarten and primary school in Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district. Nearly 100 students from the Khmu ethnic minority attend these two schools, with over 90% coming from impoverished families. This motivated Mr. Bao and the club members to work even harder, acting as a bridge to bring books, school supplies, clothing, and other meaningful gifts to encourage and support the children as Tet (Lunar New Year) approaches.

Previously, in August 2024, the Red Flame Charity Club also raised nearly 127 million VND to organize the "Helping Children Go to School" program at primary and kindergarten schools in Bac Ly commune (Ky Son district). Through this program, hundreds of warm jackets, dozens of cash gifts, and school supplies were donated to the children. In addition, solar-powered lighting systems, water filters, and wall fans were installed to improve the children's living conditions. These meaningful gifts have provided positive energy to the teachers and students in this remote area, helping them to persevere on their journey of educating children.
To make that journey even more complete, during the "Tet for the Poor" program in the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon, the club also donated 220 million VND through the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

For over 10 years, Mr. Bao's humble home on Nguyen Sy Sach Street (Vinh City) has been dedicated to charitable work, becoming a trusted connection point for kind-hearted individuals wishing to help children and people in disadvantaged areas. Not wanting his charitable activities to remain a personal endeavor, in 2021, Mr. Pham Van Bao established the "Red Flame" Charity Club.
Since then, nearly 50 members of the club have organized more than 20 charitable trips together, supporting many students and people in difficult circumstances in disadvantaged areas of the province. Not only acting as a bridge for material support, the doctors, nurses, and key members of the club have also organized many programs to provide free medical examinations, consultations, and medication to the people.

In recognition of these contributions, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the club a Certificate of Commendation. On December 29th, Mr. Pham Van Bao also became one of the three representatives from Nghe An honored at the awards ceremony."Contributing to the community in 2024".
Behind these accolades, Mr. Bao and the club members are even more motivated to connect and organize more charitable trips, continuing their journey of spreading love and contributing to the community in the coming years.
My heart yearns for home.
Although living, working, and studying in Hanoi, members of the Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi always think of their hometown with many meaningful activities. In recent days, the young people in the Association have raised over 300 million VND to purchase and donate a large motorboat, a solar-powered lighting system, blankets, warm clothes, and essential supplies such as rice, salt, milk, and medicine. Everything has been fully prepared. The young people have also completed the necessary procedures with the local authorities to organize a donation program for the people in Huoi Pung village, Huu Khuong commune, Tuong Duong district next week.

With over 50,000 young people from Nghe An connected, the Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi has organized numerous charitable programs for the province's disadvantaged areas over the past 10 years. Driven by a desire to provide the best for their homeland, especially the remote and difficult mountainous regions, the Association organizes the "Warm Hearts in the Border Region" program annually on a large scale. Each year, the gifts include bicycles, warm blankets, school supplies for students, and essential goods for the local people.
In 2022, in Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, the Association donated gifts worth over 250 million VND. In 2023, in Cam Muon commune, Que Phong district, the total value of gifts reached over 350 million VND. In addition, each year the Association also raises funds to support the "Green Summer" programs of the Student Volunteer Team from Nghe An province at universities, with a total annual support value exceeding 300 million VND. These activities serve as a reminder of the solidarity and mutual support spirit of the people of Nghe An.

For many years, those who have left their hometown, whether in Vietnam or abroad, have always looked towards their homeland with hearts full of love and responsibility towards the land of Ky Son.
Among them, the Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi has consistently contributed and shared in the difficulties of the community, such as supporting the construction of bridges for the people, donating gifts to people in difficult circumstances, and supporting poor students.
These charitable activities not only bring joy and warmth to those in need but also demonstrate the power of sharing that young people always show towards their homeland.
Comrade Lo Van Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Que Phong District

According to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in recent years, nearly 200 volunteer groups with more than 5,300 members have carried out a series of meaningful programs, such as building bridges for the people, schools, boarding houses, supporting livelihoods and providing medical treatment for thousands of poor households.
Thanks to the funds raised by organizations, charitable groups, and philanthropists inside and outside the province, disadvantaged areas have received support to build 14 rural bridges, dozens of boarding houses for students, hundreds of "Great Solidarity" houses, and many other practical activities. These heartfelt contributions not only bring about material changes but also provide motivation for people in the province's disadvantaged areas to overcome difficulties and build better lives.
