With the decision to retain Leny Yoro in the first team, coach Ruben Amorim opens up a great opportunity for this 19-year-old talent in the Manchester United squad.

Manchester United's new manager Ruben Amorim has decided to keep young centre-back Leny Yoro in the first team, despite the £52m signing initially being set to play for the Under-21s. The decision comes after Amorim was impressed with Yoro's performance in a recent training session at Carrington.

Sự trở lại của Leny Yoro sẽ gỡ rối cho hàng thủ Man United

Yoro, who has been out injured for a long time after breaking a metatarsal in a friendly against Arsenal in July, has returned to training and has had a chance to show his worth in the first team. It didn’t take long for Amorim to recognise the 19-year-old’s talent and decided to withdraw him from the Under-21s’ 4-0 win over Altrincham in the National League Cup.

In recent training sessions, Yoro has been deployed by Amorim as a right-sided centre-back in a back three, a tactic familiar to the Portuguese coach, which brought him success at Sporting Lisbon. With the lack of personnel in the back, especially with Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof absent, Yoro could make his debut for the first team against Ipswich Town next Sunday.

Despite Amorim's confidence, Yoro's return from injury requires some caution. However, with Manchester United's defence struggling, Yoro's arrival could provide a temporary solution for Amorim.

With this decision, Yoro has a great opportunity to prove himself and could be an important part of the MU squad in the near future.
