Eating highly processed meat increases the risk of cancer.

After conducting a long-term study on 2,000 people in the UK, the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) found that eating one meal of highly processed meat, around 50g in the form of sausage, every day can increase the risk of cancer by 20%, especially abdominal cancer.

This is an unhealthy eating habit, easily addictive because it's palatable and currently the most popular food among Britons. The reason is that these foods contain many harmful compounds such as smoke, salt, chemicals, and additives... these substances are enhanced during preservation and processing.

Besides the risk of abdominal cancer, this food also increases the risk of other diseases such as prostate cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, and nasopharyngeal cancer.

Besides artificial toxins, this food has a high content of fat and iron, which also contribute to increased disease risk. Therefore, experts at WCRF have advised people to reduce their consumption of this type of food and replace it with other beneficial, natural, fresh foods, especially those with genetic defects and a high risk of cancer.
