Android is the operating system with the most vulnerabilities in 2016

According to a new study by CVE Details (a website that records operating system vulnerabilities), in 2016 the number of vulnerabilities discovered on Android was the highest.

Phone Arena cited a report by CVE Details saying that in 2016, Android led the list of operating systems with the most security vulnerabilities detected, with 523 errors.

Coming in second place is the Debian Linux operating system with 319 bugs, followed by Ubunto Linux with 278 bugs, Linux Kernel with 217 bugs, Mac OS X with 215 bugs, Windows 10 with 172 bugs and iOS with 161 bugs.

Thus, it can be seen that the number of errors detected on Android is 3 times higher than on Apple's iOS.

Note, CVE Details statistics are aggregated across all devices running operating systems, including smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
